The harvesting style of this tea is very particular. This is one of the few teas where you will not find any bud. It is entirely made up of young leaves harvested in mid-April. This is a very difficult job since the leaves are harvested one by one, making sure that no stems are found among the leaves. This green tea has been produced entirely by hand in the traditional way. The leaves were cooked in a charcoal-heated wok. This step gives the leaves very light notes of smoke.
