You are probably wondering why this tea is named so? The story goes that this name was used to protect this unique cultivar from other growers. The producers of the village Ping Keng Tou, the origin of this cultivar, told others that the secret of the extraordinary aroma of this tea came from the soil covered with duck poop. The producers then started to name this tea "scent of duck poo". There is no way to know if this story is true, but it partly explains this strange name.

This Dan Cong is one of the best known and most appreciated. We perceive fruity and slightly sweet notes.
